Valor Psychology Services (VPS) and Valor Wellness Retreat (VWR)

VPS is a newly established Namibian Psychology Practice and Wellness Retreat solely owned and managed by Elsabé Grötzinger, a Namibian female Clinical Psychologist, with 31 years of experience in the field of counseling in the education and corporate environment. VPS and VWR currently consist of a Clinical Psychologist, Practice Manager, a Practice Administrator/ Receptionist, and support staff. The primary objective of VPS is to prevent health and wellness problems from occurring in the employees' lives. VPS looks to support employees and managers who might be experiencing difficulties in their physical, mental, financial, spiritual, and emotional well-being to enhance their holistic health to stay productive and have a good quality of life, thereby facilitating that both the managers and the employees’ experience: The most recent post-COVID achievement is that mental health is a tangible concept where employees are ready to engage to become healthier individuals and generate abundant team outputs, Accountability is the newest mental health buzzword, compelling workforces (including all levels in the organization) to step up and take responsibility for their mental health to become happier and more productive individuals and employees. With community and school outreach (Psychosocial Education) programs, the Practice passionately plows back into the communities

Elsabé Grötzinger

Elsabé Grötzinger is a Clinical Psychologist holding both a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Community Counselling and a Masters in Social Work with 20 years of Corporate Wellness experience. With her more than 30 years’ experience, she is known for her high energy levels and human connection and her readiness to share her skills for a greater turn around in community mental health.

As the owner and CEO of Valor Psychology Service, she depends on various psychotherapeutic techniques to identify and correct dysfunctional and unhelpful work environments which include but are not limited to dysfunctional team dynamics, poor interpersonal relationships, poor performance, absenteeism, presenteeism, substance use, depression, anxiety, etc.
